If you were anywhere near Siri Fort Auditorium during Educart Conclave 2025, you probably heard the loudest cheers when Anubhav Rakheja walked on stage! His session wasn’t just a talk - it was an experience filled with laughter, real talk, and the kind of advice that actually makes sense to all students.

The session started on a super high note - the energy in the hall was unreal! Students were already cheering when Mr. Anubhav Rakheja walked on stage with a big smile and said, “Good afternoon, everyone!”
Here’s what made his session such a hit:
The whole session felt light, fun, and real - like listening to a senior who totally gets what school life is actually like.
Moving into the core of his talk, Mr. Rakheja spoke about how earlier generations often built careers by chance, while today’s students have the opportunity to create them by choice. But, as he pointed out with a smile, “Sometimes having too many choices is where the confusion begins.”
He shared some eye-opening facts like:
“With 21 lakh students competing for just 90,000 medical seats, it’s perfectly fine to choose science and not become a doctor - or commerce and not be a CA.”

He reminded students that in India, stream selection is often influenced by peer pressure, marks, or expectations, while the real focus should be on the interest, personality, and eligibility. He also shared some insights - like how IITs offer opportunities for humanities students through the UCEED exam, and that Economics can only be pursued from top institutes if Mathematics is chosen.
He also emphasized that choosing the right stream is really important as it determines one’s course, college, and career path over the next five years - and can also influence the next fifty years.
To make the message more memorable, Mr. Rakheja conducted an interactive experiment. Introducing himself as a Harvard alumnus, he asked students to clap on his count, saying their veins would vibrate - a trick he said his “professor” once demonstrated.
The audience participated with full energy, only for him to later reveal that he had actually studied in Uttar Pradesh, not Harvard.

The hall erupted in laughter, but the takeaway was powerful - big names can impress you, but genuine success comes from effort and sincerity. “Dream big, but work even bigger - that’s the real Harvard lesson,” he said with a smile.
Mr. Rakheja encouraged everyone to start exploring their interests early - even while still in school. He told students about some really cool opportunities like the six-day Summer School Course by NISER, and short business programs run by IIT Bhubaneswar and IIT Ropar for Classes 9 to 12.
“Your dream career doesn’t start after school - it starts the day you decide to explore,” he reminded students.
He also simplified the difference between percentage and percentile, explaining why percentile often matters more in competitive exams - a detail that helped clear up common confusion among students.
The session ended with an engaging Q&A round, where students asked their questions freely, and Mr. Rakheja answered each with warmth and clarity. His ability to combine humour, facts, and honesty made every moment meaningful.

By the end, the room was filled with laughter, applause, and a sense of confidence. Students walked out feeling lighter, more aware, and inspired to make their own choices with clarity.
Mr. Anubhav Rakheja’s session wasn’t just about careers - it was about awareness, self-belief, and the courage to choose your own path.
